One of the most common questions we get isn't about what shilajit is — it's about how to actually use it day to day. Here's the routine we recommend for SATKAPI Shilajit Gold.
1. Measure a pea-sized portion
That works out to roughly 300–500mg. Use the back of a clean, dry spoon — resin can be sticky, so a slightly damp spoon (not wet) makes it easier to scoop.
2. Dissolve it in warm water or milk
Stir it into a small glass of warm — not boiling — water or milk until it fully dissolves. Boiling water isn't necessary and warm water dissolves the resin just as well.
3. Take it once daily, consistently
Morning or evening both work. What matters more than timing is consistency — many people build it into an existing habit, like their morning tea or coffee routine, or a nightly wind-down ritual.
4. Store it properly
Keep the lid tightly closed and store the jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If the resin softens in warm weather, a brief spell in the refrigerator makes it easier to scoop.
A note on consistency over intensity
Shilajit is traditionally used as a steady daily habit rather than an occasional dose. If you're just getting started, our case studies page has a few examples of how different people have built it into their routines.
